Shape Arts' 40th Birthday Bonanza Shape Arts is a disability-led arts organisation and 2016 is our 40th year! Join us at Platform Southwark for our beautiful, radical, disability- and artist-led two-day birthday event consisting of an artist postcard exhibition and sale, two workshops and a party. Visual artists have created postcards for us which we'll be exhibiting and selling for £30 each (Christmas presents perhaps...?). Proceeds will fund our bright and brilliant future activities towards putting an end to the marginalisation of disabled people in the arts. All are welcome to attend, including our joint Private View and birthday party on Friday 25 November from 6 - 9pm, as well as the closing drinks on Saturday 26 November from 5 - 7pm. We will also be hosting two free workshops with a focus on creativity and disability.
