Christopher Sacre    www.christophersacre.com

Sacre uses his work to explore Deaf culture, identity and experience to promote greater awareness and profile within the mainstream.  Plaster cast filled condom forms, Sacre's 'Babies', provide a playful reemerging motif throughout his work, which he explores in a variety of graphic and sculptural manifestations.

David Lock   www.david-lock.com

Lock's paintings utilise a collagist approach; piecing together body parts from a variety of mainstream magazines to construct ambiguous paintings combining beauty and the imperfect. The paintings seek to address contemporary ideas of masculinity, towards something more awkward and troubling than the idealized subjects in which they are often derived from.

The Vacuum Cleaner www.thevacuumcleaner.co.uk

The Vacuum Cleaner is an art and activism collective of one. He employs various creative legal and illegal tactics to mock, brandalise and disrupt concentrations of power, through site-specific performance, street-based intervention and film.

Aaron McPeake (2014 ARMB Bursary recipient) www.aaronmcpeake.com

McPeake works with numerous media from bronze casting to film, photography and sound. His work places emphasis on the possibility for many types of readings. He views the process of making artwork as akin to writing poetry - where the visual imagination is integral to both its making and reception.
