Shape is running a short series of 4 workshops for disabled writers wanting to improve their skills in writing fiction.

In order to be considered for a place you will need to be a writer who is actively engaged in your practice, whether or not you are published or aiming for publication. The workshops will be led by Lois Keith OBE, a published writer of fiction and non-fiction, arts practitioner and an experienced creative writing tutor.

The workshops will take place from Tuesday 4 October at Tate Modern, in a wheelchair accessible space. We aim to provide appropriate access facilitation and we will ask you for your access requirements once you have been offered a place.  Applicants must cover their own travel costs but workshops are free to attend. You will be expected to attend all four sessions and make an active contribution.

In order to apply, please complete our brief application form. It contains further information and is available to download at this link on our website: click here.  You will be required submit a sample of your writing (fiction, autobiography or memoir for example) with a maximum length of 500 words.

Please contact Sara Dziadik with any queries.
