Rubbena Aurangzeb-Tariq – Object-Making Workshop

Children, young people and adults alike are invited to create plaster sculptures of people, animals and objects with artist Rubbena Aurangzeb-Tariq and Shape at Tate Modern, as part of Shape's second Tate Exchange programme Ghosts in the Machine.

Rubbena has been running this workshop with school groups of deaf young people who have been constructing these objects as a means of becoming 'seen' or acknowledged when, as a marginalised group, they are too often overlooked; not heard by mainstream society.

12 to 6pm, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 March.

This workshop is wheelchair accessible and BSL interpreted. There's no need to book, just drop in!
