Jessica is an experienced consultant, project manager and trainer in the field of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. She has a degree in Experimental Psychology which provides her with a grounding in research methods and data analysis, and she has managed many research projects. Jessica has a wealth of experience working both at a senior level, and with front line staff, in the creation and development of policies, practices and procedures. One of her specialities is in engaging with stakeholders, identifying their key issues and drivers, and ensuring that the organisations serving them understand and respond to these effectively. She has been involved with the production and delivery of Equality Standards, and has an in depth knowledge of the role and Equality Impact Assessments. 

Jessica wrote some of the non-statutory guidance for the Equality Act, trained the EHRC and Arts Council England in using EQIAs, and most recently assisted HS2 with creating an EQIA for their communications strategy.

  • Commissioned by the British Council & LOCOG to support the scoping of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad, with respect to ways of promoting disability equality
  • Founding member of the London Development Agency's blue print Independent Disability Equality Advisory Group.
