Since 2013, Unlimited has employed disabled trainees each year to help deliver our programme and extend the range of disabled people working in the cultural sector. Find out more about the trainees who are just about to leave and how to apply to take their place…

This autumn, our current trainees come to the end of their time with us – a time that didn’t pan out like any of us planned. Alistair and MJ adapted, flexed, pivoted and reframed along with the team – and you can see just what they made of their traineeships in their video response below. You can also watch this video with BSL here and audio description introduction here.

Apply for a traineeship with Unlimited

From January 2021, we need 2 new trainees – one to work via Shape Arts based in Peckham and one via Artsadmin, based in Aldgate East (although both roles may start with remote working in the first few months). These are full time positions aimed at disabled people wanting to start their careers in the art sector working across a wide range of areas – working with artists, on events, on marketing and communications and more. And they will join the programme at an exciting time as we award over half a million pounds in awards and continue our transition into an independent organisation. We are keen to reach out to a wide and diverse range of people with this opportunity, so please help us spread the word! You can download information on the traineeships and how to apply below (available in Word, pdf format and audio below – please let us know if you would like it in any other formats).

The deadline for applications is 5pm 12 November 2020.
