Shape is currently recruiting a full-time trainee to join the Unlimited team.

Unlimited is an arts commissioning programme that aims to embed work by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors, reach new audiences and shift perceptions of disabled people. Unlimited is delivered by the disability-led arts organisation Shape Arts and arts-producing organisation Artsadmin, and is funded from 2016-20 by Arts Council England, Arts Council of Wales, British Council and Spirit of 2012.

This is a twelve-month contract at an exciting and busy time in the Unlimited calendar. The Traineeship encompasses a number of roles, assisting a range of projects across different art forms from marketing to event management and project evaluation. This post is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in the arts sector.

Shape is committed to equality and diversity in employment and all aspects of its programme and operation. This opportunity is ring-fenced for a disabled applicant, who meets the person specification.

Previous trainees and interns have shared their experiences of working with Unlimited through some blogs and videos:

This is a full time, paid position, starting Monday 10 September 2018, with the Trainee invited to attend Unlimited: The Symposium and parts of Southbank Centre's Unlimited Festival the week prior.
