This course is designed to give participants an introduction to the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as an introduction to the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010.

It will be relevant for people new to the topic of Equality and to those who have some knowledge or have previously undertaken similar training, but would like to refresh their knowledge. It is a way of reviewing participant’s knowledge and skills, and remaining up to date with new legal and policy developments.

It will also help participants to establish a commonly accepted framework in which equality, diversity and inclusion concepts can be identified and acted upon in participants’ own areas of responsibility.
