Supporters and Partnerships

Our work could not happen without the support of our partners and funders. We'd like to thank the many other trusts, foundations and individuals whose combined support permits us to deliver high quality and accessible activities to support disabled people in arts and culture.

We are always looking for new partnerships, whether as sponsors, donors, or collaborators. Read on to find out how to get involved.

Working together

We work with our partners on an individual basis, finding the best and most effective ways in which our organisations can collaborate. But we don’t view support as a one way street. We want your company to get the most from our partnership and for you to be involved in the work you are most passionate about supporting.

By gaining more disability awareness and confidence, you can elevate the profile of your organisation as a leader in diversity and inclusive practices, gaining peer recognition in the process while benefiting staff teams and customers on a daily basis.

By sponsoring one of our high profile arts events and exhibitions, you can reach new and diverse audiences as our programme gains ever greater public and critical profile.

Through association with Shape, you will directly and visibly demonstrate your support for a more inclusive cultural sector, enriching marginalised lives as well as bringing new perspectives to the wider public.

We feel the partnership has been managed energetically, enthusiastically and professionally by everyone we have met from Shape

By supporting the development of exciting artistic talent, you will be directly enabling a new generation of artists and creative practitioners to develop their voice and become the future face of arts and culture.

Examples of partnership support:

Partners can help us in a variety of ways, including:

  • Exhibiting or showcasing artworks by our alumni and the collections we have access to

  • Commissioning new work to be made – designs, artworks, bespoke objects or pieces for the public realm

  • Inviting our alumni to speak at your events or deliver workshops – this might be in an office, venue, outdoor or educational setting

  • Making a regular or one-off donation to further our work across a variety of fields, supporting disabled creatives and young people in the process

  • Supporting an aspect of one of our events: packages can be tailored to your needs and could include naming rights for exhibitions, sponsoring our catalogues or proving funds for a prize - this is a convenient and impactful way to gain exposure for your brand

These are just a few suggestions – please do approach us with ideas of your own, we’d love to hear from you.

And in addition to the benefits outlined above, we can also offer in return for your support:

  • Providing Disability Equality Training for your staff

  • Providing access support, this can include an Access Audit to ensure that your organisation is fully aware of the needs of disabled staff and patrons

  • Acknowledging your support of our work through press articles, as well as our website and social media channels
