Supporters and Partnerships

Our work could not happen without the support of our key funders. We'd like to thank:

Arts Council England

Arts Council of Wales

British Council

Bucks New University

Garfield Weston Foundation

Joseph Rowntree Foundation

National Heritage Lottery Fund

Schuh

and the many other trusts, foundations and individuals whose combined support permits us to run Shape's activities, including the Shape-led projects NDACA, NDMAC and Unlimited.

Our partners are many and various, but we'd specially like to thank Artsadmin who are our partners on Unlimited, and Buckinghamshire New University, where NDACA will have a wing for study. A full list of partners for these projects can be found on these pages:

Building new partnerships

We work with our partners on an individual basis, finding the best and most effective ways in which our organisations can collaborate. We want your company to get the most from our partnership and we want you to be involved in the work you are most passionate about supporting.

There are many ways in which you can support us…

  • Provide sponsorship to one of our high profile arts projects. Initiatives like Unlimited and Shape exhibitions are reaching high audience numbers and gaining ever greater public and critical profile. These could be great to associate with, showing your support for a more inclusive cultural sector, whilst also gaining great exposure for your brand. Packages can be tailored to your needs and could include naming rights for exhibitions, sponsoring our catalogues or proving funds for a prize.
  • Donate staff time – for example, providing specialist support such as professional mentoring to our beneficiaries.  We are a small charity and volunteers can make a big difference in a short amount of time.
  • Help us spread the word about our work to your customers and networks.
  • Exhibit art work from our Shape Collection or artists that we are representing in your offices (on loan or by purchase).
  •  Provide a corporate donation to a project that means something to your organisation – that may be our work to develop the employment opportunities of young disabled people or our high-profile bursary and exhibition programmes for disabled artists. Read more about our flagship bursary scheme (Shape's Adam Reynolds Award)

There are many ways in which we can support you…
  • We can provide Disability Equality Training for your staff
  •  We can provide Access Support, this can include an Access Audit to ensure that your organisation is fully aware of the needs of disabled staff and patrons.
  •  We can acknowledge your support of our work through our website and social media channels.
