Our work Our creative programme Adam Reynolds Award Are We There Yet? - Guy Morris Guy's artist profile Return to all artworks This kinetic sculpture depicts a pair of wooden feet, bound by chains, mounted on a plinth. The feet move rhythmically - left, right, left, right - evoking both the restless tapping of someone forced to wait, and the steady march of a protest. By inviting the audience to activate the piece themselves, the work transforms passive observation into an act of solidarity, exploring ideas of protest, imprisonment, and the struggle for disability rights. The work asks: are we marching freely, or are we chained to the very systems we seek to change? BSL Audio description Shape Arts · Are We There Yet by Guy Morris Manage Cookie Preferences
