Our work Our creative programme Adam Reynolds Award Sorry, Come Again? - Guy Morris Guy's artist profile Return to all artworks Inspired by the work of disability rights activist and typewriter artist, Keith Armstrong, this interactive sculpture invites you to ‘speak’ through a foot-operated stamping device. The responses it produces are limited, contradictory, and sometimes nonsensical - echoing the frustration of having one’s voice reduced to tick boxes and bureaucratic labels. As an act of protest, the work highlights how freedom of expression is constrained and how disabled people are continually categorised, monitored, and defined by systems that fail to truly listen.
